90s – Cloud 90

The three seasoned Nashville musicians who, together, are Cloud 90 share a passion for faithfully re-creating and celebrating the very best songs by the best nineties alternative & pop-rock bands. Their electrifying shows are geared towards music lovers of all ages who crave exceptional songs from that era, performed with reverence for the original artists.

Cloud 90 puts the spotlight on hits by signature nineties bands such as Toad The Wet Sprocket, Counting Crows, Oasis, Fastball and many others. The tight, harmony-driven power trio that is Cloud 90 focuses mainly on selections from non-grunge groups who still liked to crank it up when delivering their high-energy tunes. Outstanding songwriting and infectious melodies are the common thread.

A delicate balance between popularity and freshness has been struck in an effort to leave the crowd thoroughly entertained as well as pleasantly surprised when a forgotten treasure pops up. The band doesn’t perform any song that they don’t personally love, and their unbridled enthusiasm for the material resonates with concert attendees.

By utilizing stereo stage amplification, layered guitar effects and live keyboard simulation via their instruments, Cloud 90 sounds more like a 5-piece ensemble than a trio but never uses pre-recorded tracks or samples of any kind.

About The Musicians

Cloud 90 is Tom Glynn on vocals and bass, Alex Blizniak on vocals and guitar, and Mark Allee on drums.

Tom has shared stages with Five For Fighting, Norah Jones, 10,000 Maniacs and Goo Goo Dolls. He is a John Lennon Songwriting Contest winner and a Boston Music Award nominee for Outstanding Songwriter, who’s songs have been featured in numerous TV shows such as Showtime’s Californication. The Boston Globe calls him “a pop tunesmith at the top of his game”.

Alex is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and a Mid-Atlantic Song Contest winner. While performing in the DC area, he shared stages with a variety of artists, including YouTube sensation Adam Neely. He has also written, performed and produced multiple commercial compositions that are currently airing in the Western United States.

Mark has shared stages with John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and Sammy Hagar, just to name a few. A graduate of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood and a California native, he performed with a multitude of West Coast artists before making Nashville his home. In addition to being a songwriter, he’s an educator, specializing in music education for kids, as well as an in-demand videographer, photographer and graphic designer.
