90s Hip-Hop – Mic Check One-Two
Mic Check One-Two is a world-class tribute powerhouse that brings the golden era of 90s Old School Hip-Hop and R&B to life with unmatched swagger and global prestige. This cutting-edge act has traveled the world—from high-profile stages in Japan to South West Asia—earning a reputation as the definitive choice for celebrity weddings, upscale event planners, and elite corporate galas. More than just a musical performance, Mic Check One-Two is a high-energy celebration of the decade when hip-hop reigned supreme, delivering a polished, high-definition trip through the hits that defined the culture.
The band’s immense repertoire is a meticulously curated journey through the 90s’ most iconic “Main Event” anthems. Audiences are treated to the smooth, harmony-driven R&B of Boyz II Men, TLC, and Mary J. Blige, alongside the street-level grit of The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, and Wu-Tang Clan. From the party-starting energy of Naughty By Nature’s “Hip Hop Hooray” and Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” to the groundbreaking influence of Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, and Lauryn Hill, the show captures the full spectrum of the decade’s rhythmic dominance.
What sets Mic Check One-Two apart is their ability to command the largest stages with a professional, high-impact production. Whether they are channeling the technical flow of LL Cool J and Snoop Dogg or igniting a unified crowd singalong to “No Diggity” and “Gangsta’s Paradise,” the energy is constant and infectious. Their setlist moves effortlessly from the boom-bap foundations of Run-DMC and A Tribe Called Quest to the global pop-crossover hits of MC Hammer, Will Smith, and Vanilla Ice.
Mic Check One-Two offers a turnkey, stadium-caliber entertainment solution for venues looking to provide a sophisticated yet high-octane nostalgia trip. With a professional history of performing at the world’s most exclusive celebrity events and top-tier venues, they bring a level of international credibility that ensures a world-class experience. “Bill, I meant to send you a note last night but was too tired! The party was a huge success, and the band was awesome! We loved them, our guests loved them. Exactly what we were looking for. I wanted the party to go on for a few more hours just so i could listen to them! So many guests asked us where we found them and wanted to know their name. It was perfect. Thanks for all of your help! They really helped make a very special day for us and August even extra special. So many people had never been to a party with anything other than a DJ and they loved the live entertainment. August had a great time.” – Jody & August
“Bill thank you for performing at our 2025 MDRT global conference at the Miami Beach convention… people are raving about the group. The energy level was just amazing. Hope to have you again in 2025” – Zac, Million Dollar Round Table
“I just wanted to start off by saying thank you to you and the band for an amazing night on Thursday. The party was amazing and so much of that is due to you guys playing songs that kept everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. We were getting compliments all evening about how great you guys were and people were constantly asking us how we found you. See you in 2026 for our next gala” – Kevin and Lori
“Saturday was the best party i have ever been to!!! You guys brought the house down! I knew you would. I will forever be grateful. Thank you so much. You Rock!” – Nick
