Andrews Sisters – KLM Sisters

The KLM Sisters deliver a breathtaking, youthful revitalization of the legendary Andrews Sisters, bringing the “Boogie Woogie” spirit of the 1940s to a whole new generation. Featuring 19-year-old Kaitlyn and 17-year-old identical twins Lauren and Mackenzie, this “triple-threat” vocal trio possesses the rare, intuitive precision of family harmonies that made the original trio a global sensation. By blending their elite training in dance and musical theater with a heartfelt dedication to the “We’re all in this together” spirit of the World War II era, the KLM Sisters offer a high-energy, exuberant performance that is both a historical homage and a modern masterclass in vocal artistry.

An evening with the Teen Andrews Sisters is a vibrant, immersive journey that invites the audience to relive the glamour and patriotic fervor of the Big Band era. It is a show that inspires fans to “step into character”—it is common to see audiences arriving in vintage tea dresses, victory rolls, and military-inspired attire, eager to reenact the magic of a USO-style hangar dance. This interactive, multi-generational connection allows older fans to reminisce on the music of the “Greatest Generation” while the sisters’ infectious, youthful energy captivates younger crowds. Whether they are performing alongside a full orchestra like the Metro Big Band or commanding a festival stage, the atmosphere is one of pure, nostalgic joy.

The professional pedigree of the KLM Sisters is remarkable. Highlighted on Canada’s Got Talent (2022) and recognized as Ambassadors of Youth Day Global, these rising stars have performed at prestigious venues like Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square and the International Peace Festival. Trained from a young age in piano, violin, and trumpet, and mentored by a lineage of operatic and pop vocalists, they bring a technical sophistication to classics like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree.” Their ability to execute complex, three-part tight harmonies while maintaining a high-octane dance routine makes them a standout attraction.

As a turnkey headline act for jazz festivals, theaters, and commemorative events, the Teen Andrews Sisters provide a “Main Event” experience that is both empowering and profoundly entertaining. Backed by award-winning production and a history of sold-out performances at events like the Beaches Jazz Festival, they guarantee a sophisticated, feel-good atmosphere. For an evening that celebrates the timeless elegance and defiant optimism of the 1940s, the KLM Sisters are the definitive choice.
