Barbra Streisand – Songbird
Songbird is the definitive tribute to the legendary Barbra Streisand, starring the world-class, Montreal-born vocalist Karine Hannah. With a voice so powerful she was personally invited to sing at Celine Dion’s wedding, Karine brings an elite level of artistry to the stage. Legendary songwriter Jim Steinman—the mastermind behind “Total Eclipse of the Heart”—famously hailed her as the “best voice I’ve worked with since Céline Dion.” Songbird is a high-glamour, “Main Event” production that captures the emotional depth and vocal brilliance of a true icon, delivered with an infectious stage presence that is humorous, electrifying, and profoundly moving.
The Songbird experience is a sophisticated journey that encourages fans to embrace the elegance of the Streisand legacy. It is a show where the audience doesn’t just watch history; they live it. Fans are often inspired to fully immerse themselves in the evening’s “Old Hollywood” glamour, arriving in their finest attire to celebrate the soundtrack of their lives. This interactive connection turns the venue into a world-class concert hall, where the crowd shares in the soaring crescendos of “Don’t Rain on My Parade” and the nostalgic warmth of “The Way We Were,” creating a community of fans who relive these iconic musical moments in real-time.
Karine Hannah’s professional pedigree is unmatched. Beyond her work with Steinman, she has secured two Top 10 Billboard charting singles and released an EP under the Universal Music umbrella. Accompanied by her elite band, Water Colors—a powerhouse group of the world’s top musicians—Karine navigates Streisand’s complex catalog with “note-for-note” precision. From the defiant energy of “People” and “Somewhere” to the chart-topping magic of “Guilty” and “Evergreen,” the show delivers a stadium-caliber production with a deeply personal touch.
As a turnkey headline attraction for prestige theaters, luxury casinos, and major festivals, Songbird provides a “Main Event” atmosphere that appeals to a wide-reaching demographic. Karine’s ability to reimagine classic hits with breathless vocal flare, combined with her years of experience on major New York stages like 54 Below and City Winery, ensures a polished, world-class performance every night. For an evening that honors the legacy of Barbra Streisand with the respect and power it deserves, Songbird is the gold standard.
