When it comes to the Lounge Crooners of all time it is without a doubt that the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra leads the “Rat Pack” followed by Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Louis Armstrong, Mel Torme, Matt Munroe, , Jerry Vale, Vic Damone, Frankie Lane, Louis Prima, Jimmy Durante, Johnny Mathis, and even those that came later like Englebert Humperdinc, and Tom Jones.
Today’s present day has singers like Harry Connick Jr., and Michael Bublé who are carrying on the torch of swing and jazz music.
The Ladies of Classic Jazz include Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Nancy Wilson, Peggy Lee, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, and today’s female lounge artists are led by Diana Krall, and Nora Jones.
