Roby Duron was raised on Texas blues and was recently named by L.A.’s Rock City News “BEST BLUES GUITAR PLAYER”. He was also one of 8 National Finalists out of 4,000 in Guitar Center’s “GUITARMAGEDON” guitar competition. Roby is a professional National touring guitar player and vocalist who has spent most of his life engulfed in music, starting with his own band, The Roby Duron Band. But, he recently enjoyed10 years touring and rockin’ with David Victor formerly of BOSTON, Platinum Rockstars and Rockin’ America. He has worked with members of Pearl Jam, Blues Traveler and Heart, and is currently performing with TLR-Experience the Eagles, PETTY PARTY-Celebrating the Music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, plus promoting his own show STEVIE RAY VISITED-The Music of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
STEVIE RAY VISITED is a biographical blues explosion that celebrates the life and music of the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan. Now, his music lives on with Roby’s eerily similar vocals, killer guitar shredding and charismatic stage presence. PLUS, the show also includes Noel Deis who performed with Stevie Ray Vaughan on keys in the 70’s with the band Blackbird. We are a full band, our needs are light, we are an easy-going group of guys, and we give our audiences 110% and wanting more! Roby has personally performed all throughout the United States, and STEVIE RAY VISITED, born in 2019, has performed many times in CA, WA, NV, OH, IA, and has been invited back to several PAC’s and theaters for repeat performances.
The show is a night filled with pounding blues, and when it’s over, your audience will think that Stevie Ray ‘Visited’. Give your blues-y patrons the best!
