What happens when five seasoned musicians with a love and respect for one of the most creative and influential bands in music history come together? You get CRUISER – The ultimate tribute to THE CARS. The band is comprised of Jeffrey Oldham – Keyboards, Shaun Friedrichs – drums, Don Polednak – lead guitar, Bret Oldham – guitar, lead vocals, and David Gallagher – bass, lead vocals. From the inception of CRUISER in 2016, the intent was to pay tribute to the diverse music of THE CARS in as close as manner as possible. The band has painstakingly taken the time and effort to duplicate both the sound and the look of the original to the fullest extent. The trademark harmonies, multi-layered synthesizers, lead vocal tones and nuances, Elliot Easton’s dynamic guitar solos, and the solid yet creative bass and drums is all there. Close your eyes and you’ll think you are listening to THE CARS. Open your eyes and you will think you have just went back in time watching one of the greatest bands of the 70’s and 80’s.
