THE GIRLS CAN’T HELP IT A Celebration of the Great Women of Rock from the 60s to Today
From Janis Joplin & Grace Slick to Lady Gaga & Taylor Swift and many in between. We feature 24 of the most iconic women of pop & rock in a 90 minute show. Our singer, Patty Balbo is a dynamic performer with a killer voice and she nails every artist we cover in the show. Patty has sung background vocals for many headlining artists around the country from casino showrooms in Atlantic City & Las Vegas & theaters all over the USA to shows at Madison Square Garden, Patty has been a go to, first call session and live background singer for many years. The band consists of some great players who have all played in bands and shows for several years and have toured extensively. All the guys in the band are extraordinary players and singers so the backing vocals on this show are very well executed. The concept is a bit of a departure from a lot of tribute bands since we’re not focusing on one particular artist but rather on a several of the greatest female artists of the last seven decades. We do the show in three parts – 1) 60s & 70s – 2) 80s – 3) 90s to Today – with full video production throughout which allows us to do costume changes for each segment.
